One thing that has always bothered me about these 'Faith Based Orgs" is the ease at which they shove their nose up in the issues of things that noone other then the individual/family/doctors have any right beind a part of.

Not that I am surprised or anything that Caleb Price is browning his nose... But, Focus On The Family really needs to start focusing on themselves and the republican party with their romps in airport bathrooms before they start judging anyone else.
If I had been diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder/Gender Dysphoria when I was 6 or 7 years old, and been given the chance to delay puberty, it might have made a huge and positive difference in my life. Because I couldn't trust my parents, and under the knowledge that they would have probably abandoned me had they known I wanted to be girl, I had to keep everything inside.
Now, at 27 years old, I'm undoing alot of physical changes/damage that could have been avoided had the doctors provided me with hormone blockers.
Focus On The Family, stay the fuck out of my life. Stop trying to 'fix' people like me, stop shoving your nose in things you have no business being part of. Grow the fuck up.
What about those of us who have been able to see through the rhetoric and the threats of damnation, and realize that life is worth living, and not being afraid of some being who people claim exists, but has never shown his face in the real world (no, visions don't count)?
Why can't we live our lives without interference? So what if in your mind we are going to hell for eternity? What does it matter to you? I would rather risk hell then give up the things which make my life worth living.
